Variable pilot assisted channel estimation in MIMO-OFDM system with STBC and different modulation modes

Abstract High speed and low latency have become the development trend of mobile communication network. Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology has key network due to its efficient transmission method. Space time block coding (STBC) introduces space correlation in signals sent by different antennas, so that diversity gains are obtained for multiple input output-OFDM (MIMO-OFDM) receiver without sacrificing bandwidth. STBC is a signal combines higher rates it combination signals. uses spatial transmitters receivers improve capacity information rate OFDM system. It proceeds parallel multiplex channel, which effectively improves spectrum utilization. For obtaining efficiency, this paper variable pilot assisted channel estimation method with modulation modes. In paper, new type sequences orders proposed improving efficiency. The MIMO-OFDM systems adopted high order modulations. Simulation results show 1–2 dB signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) bit error (BER) performance systems.
